The limited overs series between England and India in the former’s home conditions was expected to be a pretty much competitive and run-heavy contest. The visitors won the T20I series by a convincing margin. However, it was expected that the hosts will fight back hard in the 50-over format, but were rattled down by the Indian chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav, who picked up six wickets in the first ODI match. The dented English team came back fighting in the second game and won the match by 86 runs.

The English batters have had a hard time in the series in tackling the mystery of Kuldeep Yadav. The wrist spinner spun a web over the England batsmen in the first T20I in Manchester, where he scalped a five wicket haul. And then something similar happened in the first ODI match as the opposition was absolutely in an alarming position about not knowing a thing about the wrist spin of Kuldeep.

Normally, cricket is not much in talks in a country like Iceland, where the conditions are highly different to the usual cricketing atmosphere. However, still some decent amount of cricket is played in some of the parts. Kit Harris, who is a part of the Iceland national cricket team, recently posted a picture of Kuldeep with his analysis so far in first-class cricket. The cricketer also added to his message that the Indian spinner could easily add some more wickets to his tally in the upcoming Test series.

In order to pile on the misery, the Iceland Cricket Twitter account had another witty suggestion as they asked to relocate the Test series between England and India to Iceland, because of seam friendly conditions there. The post on Twitter read that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had inquired Iceland Cricket for a possible relocation to completely neutralize the effect of the Indian spinners.
