Fans go gaga over MS Dhoni show in Celebrity Clasico

Veteran Indian cricketer MS Dhoni took away all the limelight in the Celebrity Clasico played recently at Mumbai. The Virat Kohli Foundation and the Playing for Humanity got together yet again for a football game after good success of Celebrity Clasico last year. In the match, the All Hearts FC (Virat Kohli’s team) took on the All Stars FC (Abhishek Bachchan’s team).

Last year, the match had ended in a 2-2 scoreline. This year, the All Hearts FC managed to thump their opposition owing to some spectacular footwork by MS Dhoni. Dhoni helped the team win the match with a scoreline of 7-3. It is a very well known fact that MS Dhoni absolutely loves playing football. His first goal helped the team the very first lead in the match.

It was a curving kick that hit the goal nets to give All Hearts FC a lead. Later in the game, he hit a very good free kick to stun the opposition team. The venue for the match was Mumbai Football Arena at the Andheri Sports Club. The stadium reverberated with chants of ‘Dhoni, Dhoni’ as the veteran Indian cricketer took the limelight and the center stage.

The All Hearts FC were coached by Indian football team skipper Sunil Chhetri. Apart from Dhoni, Virat Kohli also grabbed the attention of many. He scored a goal in the second half. Anirudh Srikanth, the son of former Indian cricketer K Srikanth, managed to goal as well. Shikhar Dhawan and Kedar Jadhav also managed to score goals for the team.

But in the end, it was only MS Dhoni who took away all the accolades. He was named as the Man of the Match for his performance. The Twitterati could not stop commenting on the match and Dhoni’s performance. They went on to quote that MS should be signed by Arsenal after this spectacular show.
