Sanju Samson scored 56 runs off 45 deliveries and helped India post a total of 188 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply, Oman finished with 167 runs for the loss of four wickets and lost the match by 21 runs. Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Kuldeep Yadav picked up one wicket each.
Pakistan faced the United Arab Emirates in their previous match and scored 146 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Fakhar Zaman made 50 runs off 36 deliveries and was the highest scorer for Pakistan. The UAE were bundled out for 105 runs in 17.4 overs and lost the match by 41 runs. Shaheen Afridi scored 29 runs off 14 deliveries and picked up two wickets for 16 runs. He won the Player of the Match award.
