Salem Spartans (SS) will face Trichy Grand Cholas (TGC) in the seventh match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2025 on Monday, June 9, at the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore. It will be the second game of the season for both teams.
The Spartans defeated the Siechem Madurai Panthers in their first game by six wickets after chasing down the target of 165 runs in 18.4 overs. M Mohammed was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 27 runs in four overs. Nidhish Rajagopal was the highest scorer and made 60 runs off 41 deliveries. He won the Player of the Match award.
The Grand Cholas faced the Nellai Royal Kings in their first game of the season and scored 157 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Waseem Ahmed was the highest scorer for the team and made 41 runs off 32 deliveries. The Royal Kings reached the target of 158 runs in 19.2 overs and won the match by five wickets.
