We witnessed another crackerjack of a game between India and South Africa and one will have to say, on the given day, the Indian team had too much firepower and managed to upstage the opposition comprehensively. Virat Kohli and his men have taken a task on their shoulders, which is, to outclass the opposition in all three departments and the duties are well divided. The batting responsibility is well led by the skipper himself, followed by the class of spin-duo, who are making it difficult for the Proteas to even put up a fight.

The chinaman and the leggie have shared 22 wickets between them, out of the 30 Indian bowlers have taken. This reflects their ability to extract assistance from any pitch and make life tough for the batsmen. The turn and bounce that Yadav and Chahal have been able to get is nowhere to be seen when the Proteas spinner come out to bowl.

In the third One-Day International, Indian team posted a mammoth total of 303 runs on the board with a blistering century from the skipper who stayed unbeaten on 160. He adjudicated the conditions really well and was able to anchor the innings all the way through.

Scoring run-a-ball 160 helped India stay right on top. When Proteas came out to bat, they were puzzled by the Indian spin duo who picked eight wickets between them, helping India to take an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the six-match ODI series.

Having played in these conditions, and being a part of Indian cricket for long, Harbhajan Singh went on to praise both Yadav and Chahal for their consistent performance and asked them to continue their good run in the coming matches.

Bhajji tweeted, “Spin twins @imkuldeep18 and @yuzi_chahal winning for India in SAsabash shero.. lagge raho.. proud of you… India India @BCCI #INDvsSA”
