India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya turned 25 on Thursday as the cricketing fraternity queued up to wish him all day. He shares his birthday with the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and felt that he is lucky to be born on the same day as the senior artist. Hardik also received a wonderful gift in the form of a pet which he named ‘Bentley’ and welcomed him to the family on the eve of a special day.

Pandya is currently injured and recovering from his lower back injury which the cricketer sustained during the Asia Cup in September. This gave him an opportunity to spend some valuable time with his family and was also able to stay with them during his birthday. The pictures and the videos of the celebrations surfaced on the social media all day as even the fans were left in awe.

With whom Pandya celebrate his birthday?

Hardik Pandya, apart from his family, had a special guest for his birthday party. The prominent actor in the entertainment industry, Karishma Tanna graced her presence on the special occasion and wished India’s budding cricketing industry. She also clicked a picture with the birthday boy only to post it on her official Instagram handle to let her fans know about the same.

She referred to Hardik as her ‘Gujju Buddy’ (Gujarati friend) and wished him a lot of success in his career. She captioned the picture with the caption which read, “Happy bday @hardikpandya93 My gujju buddy! #ktians #karishmatanna#birthday #gujjuthing.”

As far as Hardik returning to the field is concerned, he will not be seen in the first two ODIs against Windies. He is expected to get fit in time for the upcoming Australia tour which is more important. Though the all-rounder will need some crucial match-practice before embarking to Down Under in November.
