Hardik Pandya reveals the secret behind his unusual hairstyle

Indian Cricket team’s dashing all-rounder, Hardik Pandya known for his remarkable ability to hit the ball long distances is nowadays seen with an unusual hairstyle. Flaunting a hairstyle that many of his fans tried to copy considering something new and unique that the all-rounder brings in with him, is revealed to be a result to a failed attempt made by his teammate Shikhar Dhawan, when asked to trim his hair.

In his recent chat with TV presenter and anchor, Gaurav Kapoor on Breakfast with Champions, all-rounder revealed the secret behind his unusual hairstyle. While Dhawan was trying to give a nice haircut to Hardik, he ended up clearing a major chunk from right side of Pandya’s head. He decided to go with whatever he managed to, something that was unintentional but the 24-year-old doesn’t worry much about it as it gives him a unique look.

Atrocities of life

Further on the show, boy from Gujarat wasn’t shy in discussing the atrocities in life that he along with his brother faced, while growing up just in order to meet the daily expenses. He even told how his life changed within the span of three months after receiving an IPL contract from having to save each penny. After the six months of an IPL contract, Pandya found himself to be a part of national side in 2016 to represent the country in T20I series in Australia, for him this was a drastic change in life, moreover a dream come true moment to play for the country.

Bond with the seniors

Pandya even shared about the kind of bond he shares with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, he looks up to them in order to live life in a better way. Apart from being good cricketers, he feels the contemporary Indian legends are much better human beings and wants to emulate them in the process of conducting him better in both on and off the field.

The Indian all-rounder is out at rest from the current Indian squad playing against Sri Lanka for the Test series. India have a tough task in hand going forward in terms of the overseas tours and Hardik is an important player as per the team’s scheme of things.
