Mumbai Indians have made a horrible start in IPL 2022 as they have lost all the four matches played so far. They have faced a similar situation thrice since the inception of the IPL, and have gone on to win the title in one of the instances.
The team looks very strong on paper and the players have the potential to make it big, but things are just not striking for them at the moment. To motivate the players, the franchise owner Nita Ambani shared a message for the team after their fourth consecutive loss of the season.
Mumbai Indians, on their official Twitter account, shared a video of the players listening to her voice message in the dressing room “I have full faith and belief in all of you, and I am sure we will pull through. Now, we are only going to be onwards and upwards. We need to believe in ourselves that we are going to conquer this. We have been through this many times before and then gone ahead and won the Cup.”
“So I have full trust and belief that if you stick to each other, if you are by each other, we will conquer this and I will meet you on the other side. Till then my full support to you all in whatever you want. Please keep faith in each other, keep faith in yourself. Keep believing. And Mumbai Indians is always there to support you,” she added.

Mumbai have lost their games against Delhi Capitals by four wickets, against Rajasthan Royals by 23 runs, against Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets, and against Royal Challengers Bangalore by seven wickets. It has not been an ideal start for Rohit Sharma’s men. Nita Ambani’s message was to cheer them up, knowing that the team was going through a bad phase.
MI is not the only team to be going through such a terrible phase, as their biggest rival Chennai Super Kings have also not been able to keep up in the tournament, and have lost all the matches played so far. MI and CSK are at the last two spots in the points table, placed ninth and tenth respectively.
