Yuvraj Singh, who is the most experienced batsman in the current Indian squad, was congratulated by his wife and Bollywood actress Hazel Keech on reaching a career milestone. The hard-hitting left-hander touched the mark of 400 when it comes to the number of international matches he has been a part of. Yuvraj made his way into the 400 matches club when India took on the West Indies at the Queens Park Oval yesterday. It was the first match of the 5 match One Day International series between India and the West Indies.

The B-town diva posted a picture of her husband in the Indian colours and applauded him for being a true hero of the nation for years. Her picture tweet was paired with the caption “Epic is this hero! Well done #dontstoptilyougetenough @yuvisofficial”.

Yuvraj Singh’s career:

Yuvraj Singh’s career as a cricketer has been nothing short of a fairy tale. The batsman broke into the Indian team under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly and made his mark in the 2002 NatWest final alongside Mohammad Kaif. Establishing himself as one of the fiercest hitters of the cricket ball Yuvraj Singh became a nightmare for the deadliest of bowlers.

His six sixes in six balls off England pacer Stuart Broad at the 2007 T20 World Cup will be remembered forever. He also had a massive role to play in India’s World Cup triumph in 2011but was unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with cancer after that. The batsman gave us another example of the valiant warrior he is when he won his battle against cancer successfully.

Yuvraj also became the 5th batsman to play 300 ODI’s for India earlier this month and joined a club of elites which include the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Mohammad Azharuddin. India’s semi-final encounter against Bangladesh was his 300th One Day International match in India’s blue jersey.

Epic is this hero! Well done #dontstoptilyougetenough @yuvisofficial ❤️?????
