There is no doubt that Virat Kohli’s fitness transformation is one of the key aspects to the heights which he has reached. The Indian captain has often been vocal how he transformed his eating habits in order to maintain this level of fitness.

On Sunday, while interacting with the Indian football captain Sunil Chettri, Kohli revealed what he would eat if he gets a cheat day. During the Instagram live session, Chettri asked the 31-year-old about his food choices if he was given a day to eat whatever he wanted.

“If you are given a day to eat whatever you eat without any mental or physical stress, what would you eat,” asked Chhetri to Kohli.

Without taking too much time, Kohli revealed what his plans would be on the day when he allows himself to eat freely. He elaborately described all the food items which he would want to have. The Indian batsman seems to have a liking towards street food and he said ‘Chole Bhature’ would be on his list.

‘There’s a big foodie inside me’: Virat Kohli

“Because it is about eating, I will wake up early in the morning. There’s a big foodie inside, I just don’t let him wake up. So I will take the Marie biscuits, will then take the cream off the milk and would make a sandwich with 20 biscuits. And put in the fridge. This will be the sweet dish for post breakfast.

After this, I will go to eat 2 plates Chole Bhature with pickle and then will have lassi from Sadar Bazar. Then I will eat the biscuits kept in the fridge,” Kohli said.

Regarding the lunch, he said he would love to have ‘Rajma Chawal’, which is a classic North Indian dish. During the interaction, the Indian batsman also said that he has quit eating meat and turned vegan and hence he would not include any non-vegetarian items.

“Then I will rest for some time. In Lunch, I will eat 2 plates full of Rajma Chawal. For evening snacks, I will have paneer patty with hot and sweet sauce not just some normal sauce. In the night, daal makhani, garlic naan, paneer khurchan, and then Gulab Jamun with ice cream. But I won’t sleep after that, I will go for a walk and then would eat cassata ice cream and after that, I will have the mouth freshener,” the Indian skipper said.

After listening to this, Chettri said he would love to join Virat on his cheat day and eat all these foods with him.
