ICC announces Bundaberg Rum as official partner for the Cricket World Cup 2015: International Cricket Council (ICC) the highest cricketing authority in the world and also the organizers of the Cricket World Cup on Sunday 14th December 2014 announced the Bundaberg Rum as its official partner for the ICC cricket world cup 2015.

The game of cricket is all about action, fun and lot of excitement for all the fans. ICC world cup guarantees one the same excitement ten folds more. The entire world is packing their stuffs; in around 60 days time the attention of the sporting universe will turn to Australia and New Zealand as the ICC’s mega event the world cup 2015 starts on the 14th February 2015.

Fans are expected to go out to the stadiums in large number to rout for their teams. Not only teams but also followers will travel to the Southern hemisphere for the world cup. The ICC and the event organisers will also give it their best shot to make not only the games but on stadium experience for the spectators also a much more pleasant one.

In its bid to increase the fun and enjoyment element the ICC has tied up with one of the most famous Rum brads as the official Rum partner for the world cup 2015.

The ICC made a Press Statement on its website icc-cricket.com making the news official:

The ICC has announced an exciting and a new partnership with the Bundaberg Rum company. Bundaberg now becomes the Official Rum Partner for the Cricket World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.

After the partnership Bundaberg Rum products will be made available at various venues which will host the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. These products will be supplied to the venues and will be available in both Australia and New Zealand during the CWC 2015.

Adam Ballesty, Marketing Director, Diageo Australia, said: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and supporting Australia’s biggest summer of cricket with Australia’s favourite rum.  As mates get together to watch their teams at home, at pubs or in venues across the country compete for cricket’s crowning glory we hope they celebrate every special moment with a Bundaberg rum.”

This could be an exciting news for all liquor and cricket fans as the combination of both will now be available for them at the stadiums hosting World Cup 2015 matches.
