Their fast bowlers did the job, after which the batsmen had to merely complete the formalities. The Caribbean team will next face Australia in Nottingham.

The pitch at the Trent Bridge is generally an excellent one for batting and a high-scoring game can be expected. The Aussies also made a decent start to their World Cup campaign, beating Afghanistan by seven wickets in Bristol. In the unofficial warm-up match, Australia came out trumps against the mighty Windies, however, now it’s a whole new ball game and the Caribbean boys have a fair chance as well.
