The Pakistan cricket never ceases to be in the controversies. Be it their cricket on the field, or the action of the field – the players of the team manage to bag the headlines somehow. The most recent addition to this list is the young stylish all-rounder Imad Wasim. He certainly has not made it to the new headlines for a good noble reason though. The all-rounder finds himself in a controversial series of leaked images.
Albeit there is nothing very objectionable about the images that are surfacing the social media, the allegations that are being revolving around the same could be a bothering case for Imad Wasim. Recently, as per the reports in Dunyanews.tv, a girl of Afghan descent has claimed that Imad had relations with her.
As per the reports, she claimed that the Pakistani cricketer was in a relationship with her for a month. However, he started ignoring her after that. Soon, he abandoned the relationship completely, leaving the girl helpless. The girl has approached the media and has many pictures clicked with Imad as a testimonial for her claims. Imad Wasim has not commented on the issue yet.
On field action
Talking about the on-field performances, Imad has had a herculean rise in his short international career thus far. He recently rose to the top of the ICC T20I bowlers’ rankings. He is currently sitting comfortable at the helm with 742 rating points to his name. The next in the list is India’s Jasprit Bumrah.
Imad was a part of the Pakistan team that hosted the World XI in Lahore recently. Team Pakistan welcomed back international cricket in style and won the series 2-1 eventually. Prior to that, Imad played a crucial role in the championship win for the men in green in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 that was held in England.
