The England tour of India comprising just-concluded four-match Test series followed by ongoing five-match T20I series and three One Day Internationals marks the return of the international cricket in India after more than a year. Just like the last three Test fixtures, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has  decided to allow the presence of the fans in the stadium for the T20I series to be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

Owing to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, BCCI in association with Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) has decided that only 50% crowd will be allowed during the T20I games. This means that 50% of the total seats offered by the Narendra Modi Stadium are up for grabs via both online and offline mode.

The tickets for the remaining of the four T20 Internationals between India and England can be booked by the fans on bookmyshow.com as well as gujaratcricketassociation.com. As far as the cost of the tickets is concerned, a variety of seats are available for grabs at a price ranging from ₹500 to ₹10,000 per ticket.

Summary of 1st T20 International between India and England

The first T20I between the two nations in Ahemdabad witnessed a plethora of Indian fans in attendance cheering for the Men in Blue. However, India didn’t have a good start to the series as they were outplayed by the England side in all three facets of the game. It was a bad day at the office for the home team as the batsmen failed to post a comprehensive total on the board.

After the collapse of the top-order, Shreyas Iyer tried to stabilize the team’s innings by forming short partnerships with Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant. Iyer was the wrecker-in-chief for India as he was the only player to cross 22- run-mark by playing a stunning knock of 67 runs.

For England, Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowler as he took three important wickets of KL Rahul, Pandya, and Shardul Thakur. With a paltry total of 125 runs on the board, England easily registered a victory by 8 wickets.
