India is expected to try out a lot of names on the bench and different combinations having sealed the series 2-0 already with an eight-run victory over West Indies in the second T20I. The third T20I will take place at the same venue in Eden Garden, Kolkata, and this will be the best opportunity for India to give chances to a lot of new names that have been waiting to get on to the field, however, the match is expected to be troubled by the weather.

So far, in the two T20Is, India has managed to chase down a decent score in the first T20, due to a brilliant middle-order chase from Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer. Ravi Bishnoi’s two-wicket haul on debut helped massively as it did not allow West Indies to get to a big score despite Nicholas Pooran’s brilliant half-century. Skipper Rohit Sharma had a good outing with the bat at the start as well.

Meanwhile, in the previous T20 international, India had a big test to pass as they had to defend 29 in the last two overs with two set batters in the crease for West Indies hitting it out of the park at the crease. Veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a brilliant 19th over and the death overs specialist Harshal Patel took India to a victory despite Rowman Powell’s late scare.

Here’s a look at weather forecast before India vs West Indies third T20I in Kolkata

According to AccuWeather, the weather is expected to be overcast and foggy at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata throughout the day and there is an average humidity percentage of 45 on Sunday.

There are still possibilities for rain during the game as the cloud cover gets to as high as 70 per cent at around 8 pm. Spinners haven’t yet had much impact in the two games barring Ravi Bishnoi and they could come into play today. The temperature will be really cool throughout the game and dew could be a big factor during the toss as well.
