The fight produced by the visitors ensured the ODI series stayed alive with both India and the Windies winning one game each after completion of three matches. Team India is still looking to sort out their middle-order issues as they ran out of lower-order contributions in the previous game. This could make the team management tinker and make a couple of changes ahead of the crucial game. Windies, on the other hand, will be hoping to put up yet another fearless performance as they did in the whole series.

All the key stats and numbers ahead of the crucial 4th ODI of the series at the Brabourne Stadium:

1Virat Kohli became the first Indian to score three consecutive centuries in the last game. If he scores a century in the 4th ODI, he will be only the 2nd player after Kumar Sangakkara to hit four ODI tons in a row.

Kohli also scored a century in each of his last four ODI innings in India. AB de Villiers (four in 2010-2011) in India and Babar Azam (five in 2016-2017) in UAE are the other players to score four consecutive ODI centuries in a country.

3 – Only three players in India and Windies squads have ever played an International game at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai – MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma for India and Marlon Samuels for Windies.

5 – Kohli has been dismissed five times in his last seven ODI innings. He was dismissed by spinners in all those five occasions.

12 – Kuldeep Yadav has taken as many as 12 wickets in his last five ODI matches by taking at least two in every game since going wicket-less in the Super-4s game against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. The left-arm wrist spinner has claimed 16 wickets in the eight ODI innings he bowled in India thus far.

991 – Kieran Powell needs 9 more runs to complete 1000 runs in ODI cricket. The left-hander is 10 runs away from completing 3000 International runs having scored 1987 Test runs and 12 T20I runs thus far.

995 – Rohit Sharma needs five more runs to complete 1000 ODI runs against Windies having scored 995 runs in 23 innings against them. The Indian opener has scored ten fifty-plus scores including an unbeaten 152 in the Guwahati ODI against the Windies.

995 – Runs Virat Kohli has scored in his last ten ODI innings. This is the highest aggregate for any player in ten consecutive ODI innings.

2009 – Last time Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium hosted an International game was the 2009 Test match between India and Sri Lanka. The last ODI game at this venue was the 2006 Champions Trophy final played between Australia and Windies.

9976 – MS Dhoni is 24 runs away from completing 10000 runs for India in ODI cricket. His overall tally of 10150 ODI runs includes 174 runs made across three games for the Asia XI.
