India vs Windies: Siddarth Kaul goofs up with a congratulatory tweet for himself
That was indeed a huge error from the pacer.

The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) made a surprise announcement today. Three players were rested for the third T20I against the Windies keeping the upcoming Australia tour in mind. Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Umesh Yadav along with chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav were released from the side. As a replacement, pacer Siddarth Kaul was roped into the side.
This move was taken to keep these cricketers in good physical conditions ahead of the tour down under. Also, this gives them enough time to prepare mentally and plan their strategies out. However, just a few minutes after this decision was announced, Siddarth Kaul goofed up with one of his tweets and made a mockery of himself.
Best wishes to self from Kaul
Social media isn’t a place where you would want to commit mistakes, especially when the spotlight is on you. It spares no one and Siddarth Kaul would have realised it the hard way. After he was named in the squad, the pacer came up with a tweet but only to become a butt of all the jokes.
In his tweet, the 28-year-old put up best wishes for himself while he replied to the tweet by BCCI that announced his selection in the team. Furthermore, he tagged himself in his tweet to make things even funnier. ‘@sidkaul22 Bhaiii Best Wishes #INDvWI,’ he wrote in his tweet. However, he was quick to delete it but by then the screenshot of the tweet was already viral on Twitter.
It would be interesting to see if Kaul will make it to the final XI in the 3rd T20I. While Yuzvendra Chahal is sure to take the place of Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar is waiting for his opportunity. The Chennai track assists the spinners and it will be tough to pick one among these two. Kaul has played in two T20Is for India thus far and picked three wickets.
