Virat Kohli’s fandom on the cricket pitch is an open secret. He made his debut back in 2008 and has grown leaps and bounds ever since. The 29-year-old has racked up runs at will and has been a tormenting factor for the opponents in all formats. He is currently on a break as the Indian team is playing the 2018 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Recently, the Delhi-born cricketer went out for lunch along with wife Anushka Sharma, his elder brother Vikas and three others. Moreover, he congratulated the team after their thumping victory against Pakistan a couple of days ago to qualify for the final of the Asia Cup. India are scheduled to play Afghanistan today in Dubai and Virat is most likely to keep an eye on the team.

Virat’s new venture

In the meantime, Virat is all set to make his debut in movies. A few days ago, a poster of his debut movie ‘Trailer’ went viral. The movie is showing a release date of September 28. Co-incidentally, Anushka Sharma’s Bollywood flick Sui Dhaaga is also slated for a release on the same date. Hence, a clash between Anushka and Virat’s movie has been speculated.

Nevertheless, Virat is pretty excited about his new venture. He posted a video of the movie’s trailer on Twitter. Moreover, he captioned the video and wrote, “Another debut after 10 years, can’t wait! #TrailerTheMovie https://www.trailerthemovie.com,”

Here is Virat’s tweet

India are scheduled to play a two-match Test, five-match ODI and three-match T20I series, starting October 12 and Virat is most likely to return for the international fixtures. The right-handed batsman is currently ICC’s number one ranked batsman in ODIs and T20Is.

In India’s erstwhile Test series against England, he turned out to be the leading run-scorer with 593 runs from five matches at an average of 59.3. Subsequently, he was also crowned as India’s Man of the Series.
