Known as the perennial slow starters for the last few seasons, Mumbai have gotten off to a reasonable start this year winning 3 out of 5 games. Their last victory – a commanding 40-run win over Hyderabad while defending 136 – showed their resilience and class as a team. They will be pitted against 3rd placed Punjab, who are fresh from a comprehensive 6-wicket win over Hyderabad in their previous game and have won 4 out of 6 games this year, at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.

Fantasy team selection-wise, there will be plenty to ponder over with both teams showing good form so far this season. Both teams have done well in both disciplines of the game. With the likes of Ashwin, Rahul Chahar and Mujeeb set to ply their trades in this clash, there won’t be any shortage of variety.
