Alongside Samson, would also feature the Daredevils middle-order batsman – Shreyas Iyer. The 22-year-old Mumbaikar came into the limelight following his heroics against the visiting Australia team, where he scored a double century in double-quick time in a practice match.
In his debut season for the Daredevils, the young swashbuckling batsman scored 439 runs at an average of 33.76, a feat which he has not managed to achieve since then. The Mumbaikar is known for clearing the boundaries at ease for his domestic side and would be a powerhouse for the Uncapped XI. This season, the 22-year-old has scored 338 runs at an average of 33.80 in 12 innings.
