The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are in a precarious position as they need to win their remaining games to fathom any chances of qualification for the playoffs. However, their opponents are the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who have been phenomenal thus far in the tournament. The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Virat Kohli’s men made quite a few changes against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). To their dismay, despite the alterations, they couldn’t resurrect their derailed campaign. The Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) bowling has arguably been the most lethal and they are most likely to pose a threat a threat to the RCB batsmen who aren’t devoid of firepower as they have the likes of Kohli and AB de Villiers in their ranks.
The pitch at the venue is expected to assist the slower bowlers and Rashid Khan and Co will be itching to weave their magic on their opponents. A victory for the home team will also mean that the Orange Army will get a leg in the door of the playoffs. Meanwhile, RCB will go further down the rabbit hole, provided they don’t manage to turn their fortunes around.
No chances of rain
There are no chances of rain throughout the day, most importantly during the game. The temperature will be on the higher side n the morning, but it is most likely to cool down in the evening. From 8 pm to approximately 12 am, the temperature will be around 27 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius. It won’t be energy sapping either as the humidity will be between 35 percent to 43 percent.
Overall verdict
Kohli’s boys need a couple of full points and the weather forecast won’t be a worry for them. Nevertheless, overhauling the SRH bowling will be a concern as they move into the must-win encounter in the den of Kane Williamson’s troops.
