All eyes will be fixed at Hyderabad tonight when defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad in the summit clash. The title-decider of this season will see the two most successful teams in the history of the league taking on each other to gain supremacy. Both Chennai and Mumbai have won the IPL title thrice and have a chance of becoming the first team to win the title four times.

Mumbai and Chennai share an epic rivalry in the IPL. In fact, it would not be entirely wrong to say that the Mumbai-Chennai rivalry is the fiercest in the IPL. And for the time being, Mumbai seems to have the upper hand in the rivalry. In the ongoing season, the Mumbai-based outfit has thrashed Chennai Super Kings with utmost ease on as many as three occasions including the first qualifier. Moreover, the stats are also in Mumbai’s favour. Both the teams have met thrice in an IPL final with Mumbai winning two of them.

With the form and stats firmly in Mumbai’s favour, CSK needs to be at their very best to beat their bitter rivals for the first time this season and lift the trophy. Meanwhile, this is the second time Hyderabad is hosting an IPL final. It hosted its first final in 2017 when Mumbai Indians took on Rising Pune Supergiant. Mumbai had won that game by 1 run to bag their third IPL title.

Cricket fans across the globe will be able to watch the mouth-watering clash without any sort of natural interruptions whatsoever. According to AccuWeather, there are no predictions of rain at all although the cloud-coverage will be around 31% throughout the match.

The humidity will hover between 37-50% which can things tough for the spinners as they might find it tough to grip the ball.  Dew is unlikely to make any big impact and with the game starting at 7.30 pm, the chances of dew having any effect on the game have been further reduced. As far as the temperature is concerned, it will range between 32-29-degree Celsius.
