The 20th match of this season will see two of the most unsuccessful teams in the history of the league – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals – taking on each other at the MA Chinnaswamy Stadium. Both the teams have traditionally struggled to do well in the competition and their current season is panning out in a pretty much similar fashion. While the Royal Challengers are on the verge of getting eliminated from the league after losing their first five games, things are not looking bright for Delhi either with three defeats from opening 5 games.

RCB were looking destined to end their losing streak this season after impressive fifties from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers powered them to a daunting total of 205 for 3 against Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Andre Russell slammed 48 from just 13 deliveries to make sure RCB’s winless run continued. A loss in the upcoming game against Delhi could pretty much put Royal Challengers on the verge of elimination very early.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, are in a slightly better position, having won two of their opening five games. However, after beating Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in their first three games, they have looked off colour. Against Kings XI Punjab, they lost their last 7 wickets for just 8 runs to lose the game by 14 runs while chasing 167. In their last game which was against Sunrisers Hyderabad,  they could only score 129 for 8 and ended up losing by 5 wickets.

The upcoming clash is an opportunity for both the teams to get their season back on track and a loss could potentially derail their entire season. RCB will be banking on Kohli and De Villiers once again to guide them to a big total while Delhi will be desperate for their talented batting lineup to get going again.

How will be weather:
