It is the week of rivalry in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and it starts with the clash between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Wankhede stadium witnessed a heartbreak on Saturday with the Rajasthan Royals (RR) chasing down the total successfully. The home team will now be challenged by the rejuvenated Virat Kohli and his men who defeated the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in their own den.
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers looked in great touch the other day even as Marcus Stoinis played the role of the finisher perfectly. The bowling attack also fared well for them and there shouldn’t be any changes to the RCB line-up for this game. As far as MI is concerned, Alzarri Joseph injured his shoulder the other day and he might be replaced by Lasith Malinga who is now available for them.
The 31st game of the IPL between MI and RCB will be hosted by the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
The match starts at 08:00 PM local time (14:30 GMT).
The game will be live on Star Sports in India. (Live streaming on Hotstar).
The temperature will hover around 30-32 Degrees Celsius even as the humidity will touch sky-high which is common in Mumbai now. No rain is in the forecast.
