The Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on the Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday in a contest which could potentially decide the home team’s existence and contention for a playoffs berth. Their loss against the Delhi Capitals meant they can’t finish with 14 points anymore. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have 10 points after 12 matches. If they can win their next two matches, they will have a solid chance of finishing in the top four. In short, the RCB-RR game could well decide the fate of one of the two teams moving forward.

1980 – De Villiers needs 20 more runs to complete 2000 runs in the Twenty20 format at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Virat Kohli (2712 in Chinnaswamy) is the only other player to aggregate 2000 T20 runs at a single venue which he achieved in Bangalore only.
