Sunrisers Hyderabad missed out on bagging two points against the Mumbai Indians where they went down in the Super Over. All the Sunrisers need from here on is to defeat the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last league game. SRH doesn’t need to rely much on other results due to their high NRR. RCB, on the other hand, is the only team that has nothing to worry about in the last weekend of the league stage. They would be hoping to mess up things for the SRH on their way to exiting from the tournament.

All the key stats and numbers ahead of the do-or-die game for the Sunrisers Hyderabad:

1 – The 14-run win at home over SRH last year is the only victory for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last six meetings in the IPL. RCB might be behind Sunrisers in the head to head record but they have defeated their neighbouring franchise on four out of six occasions.

6 – Number of fifties Manish Pandey has scored in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad; the joint-most by Manish for a single team. He scored six fifties for Kolkata Knight Riders as well but played 52 innings for them but in only 22 outings for SRH.

48 – Kane Williamson has a batting average of 48 in the IPL against RCB. The Sunrisers skipper scored 192 runs in four innings against them with the help of three fifties.

16.28 – Sandeep Sharma has a bowling average of 16.28 in the IPL against the Bangalore franchise. The right-arm pacer picked up 21 wickets in 12 games against RCB and has a bowling strike-rate of 12.5. Only Ashish Nehra (23) and Harbhajan Singh (23) have more wickets in the IPL against RCB.

99Yuzvendra Chahal needs one more wicket to become the first player to bag 100 wickets in the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chahal completed 50 IPL wickets at their home ground in Bangalore with the wicket of Sanju Samson during the previous game against RR.

488Virat Kohli’s 488 runs in the IPL against the Sunrisers are the 2nd most for any player against them. Only Shane Watson (523) scored more runs against SRH. Virat amassed 488 runs in only 12 IPL innings against SRH with the help of four half-centuries at an average of 48.8. AB de Villiers also scored 388 runs in 11 innings against SRH at an average of 38.8 with three fifties.

1990AB de Villiers needs 10 more runs to complete 2000 runs in the Twenty20 format at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Virat Kohli (2737 in Chinnaswamy) is the only other player to aggregate 2000 T20 runs at a single venue which he achieved in Bangalore only. De Villiers scored 571 runs in 11 IPL innings in Bangalore since the start of 2018 at an average of 71.38 with seven half-centuries.
