IPL 2019: Shah Rukh Khan comes up with a special message after KKR's victory against RR

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are currently the table toppers of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team has, thus far, displayed utmost dominance in the 12th edition of IPL. The franchise has played a total of 5 IPL games hitherto and has registered victories in four of them. Their only loss came against the Delhi Capitals, earlier in the tournament, where Kagiso Rabada’s unbelievable yorkers in the super over helped his team to clinch a win.

KKR, in the recently-concluded IPL game on Sunday, took on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the iconic Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The game saw a one-sided fight between the two teams where the visitors completely vanquished the hosts and eventually won the game by 8 wickets. The franchise is now subjugating the tournament with full force and is one of the biggest contenders of winning the IPL silverware.

Shah Rukh Khan heaps praise on KKR

After winning the 4th match of IPL 12 and achieving the no. 1 position on the points table, the Kolkata-based franchise has received tremendous praise and has been eulogized by cricket experts from all over the world. From doyens to fans, every cricket aficionado has applauded the team’s efforts. Many former Indian cricketers like Aakash Chopra and Harsha Bhogle admired the inspiring teamwork displayed by the team. Other English commentators like Michael Vaughan and Indian commentators like Sanjay Manjrekar and Deep Das Gupta also commended the team for its easy victory.

Meanwhile, the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders i.e. Shah Rukh Khan also expressed his happiness and tweeted heaps of praises on his team. The Indian actor, in an attempt to admire the players of his team, posted a very special message on his Twitter account. The next challenge for KKR comes in the form of the second-ranked IPL team i.e. the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), captained by MS Dhoni, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Both the teams are in a scintillating form and the contest between the two arch-rivals is expected to be a high-octane encounter as the two teams will be taking on each other in successive games.
