SRH had started their campaign on a bright note but fumbled in the middle phase. However, they eventually managed to qualify due to a better NRR after KKR lost their last match. The protagonists of their qualification, their openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow won’t be available in the playoffs.

SRH’s middle order has been one of the biggest concerns this season. It has failed to carry forward the momentum provided by these two. Luckily for them, Manish Pandey and their skipper Kane Williamson have struck form at the right time. But other players, and most importantly Vijay Shankar needs to step up.
