Mitchell Marsh previously represented Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Supergiant and the Pune Warriors India in the IPL, but failed to perform well for all of them. His stint in this tournament was cut short by lack of experience or opportunities and it doesn’t seem likely that he will get an opportunity this season.

A former U19 World Cup-winning captain, Mitchell Marsh did well in the Australian domestic circuit for a long period of time and had a good shot with the national side as well. His performances were not up to the mark thus far, but he is always lingering around the side and always in the eyes of the selectors.

Mitchell Marsh assigned himself a price tag of INR 2 Crore, which again is a little too much to ask for having not done anything significant in the few months. It seems highly unlikely that a franchise will be keen on spending so much money on him at this point in time.
