2. Mumbai Indians- 9/10

The defending champions seem unstoppable at the moment. They have managed to win four out of their six matches. Their performances in their last few matches have been dominant to say the least and it won’t be surprising if they break the even-year curse.
Their biggest strength has been their pacers. Jasprit Bumrah has made a really good comeback since the first match where he went for plenty. James Pattinson and Trent Boult have been superb as well. Losing the league-opener against the Chennai Super Kings created a bit of concern, but they bounced back with a crushing victory against the KKR.
Taking the match against RCB into the Super Over can be seen as a great effort for the MI. Scoring almost 90 runs in the last five overs, MI jumped back into the game that was virtually out of their hand. After comprehensive wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, their NRR is also on the higher side.
