5. Jason Behrendorff

Jason Behrendorff has been a quality pacer in the powerplay as well as death overs. His ability to swing the new ball has been quite handy for Perth Scorchers in the last few editions of the Big Bash League (BBL).
In 13 matches of the 2021-22 BBL, Behrendorff scalped 16 wickets at an economy of 7.32 and played a key role to help Scorchers win the title. Therefore, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) picked him up in the 2022 auction for a base price of INR 75 lakh.
However, the 32-year-old did not play in any of the games in the entire season as the overseas bowling spots were filled by the likes of Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga.
