RCB were average with their performances in the week 7, where they secured a dominating victory in the first game, and lost by a big margin in the second game. In their first outing against SRH, they scored 192 on the board, with Faf du Plessis scoring 73* off 50 balls, Rajat Patidar accelerating with 48 off 38 and Dinesh Karthik providing a late flourish with 32* off 10.
The bowlers were impressive with their performance to secure a 67-run victory as well, with Wanindu Hasaranga finishing with figures of 5/18 off four overs, and Josh Hazlewood with 2/17 in his full quota of overs. In the second game, they were up against the challenge of PBKS, where they faltered with the ball to give away over 200 runs.
The saving grace for the team was Harshal Patel with four wickets. In the batting department, Glenn Maxwell (35) and Rajat Patidar (26) were key contributors in a disappointing night for the team, as they lost by 54 runs.
