Virat Kohli’s maiden Twenty20 century ended on losing side as Gujarat Lions defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. After electing to bat first, RCB put on 180/2 in their 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored 100* while KL Rahul supported him with his unbeaten 51.

Gujarat got off to a flyer as they scored 72 runs in the powerplay. From there RCB couldn’t come back into the game as the required run rate was always under 10 and Gujarat Lions easily got 9-10 runs every over.
