The former dashing Indian opener Virender Sehwag who retired in 2015 still manages to feature on this list. Sehwag is known to send shivers down many bowlers and is a very attacking batsman. Sehwag is currently the coach of the Kings XI Punjab team and also does commentary for India’s matches. The only Indian batsman with two Test triple centuries is also one of the top performers in IPL.

Sehwag played 104 games in the IPL and scored 2728 runs at an average of 27.55 and a massive strike rate of 155. He smashed 334 fours in his IPL career and also 104 sixes. With a revamped team this year, Sehwag will hope to change the fortunes for  KXIP this year as a coach. Furthermore, he has the assignment of picking the captain for KXIP this season.
