The Islamic holy month of Ramadan is about to end. Muslims across the world are bracing the much-awaited Eid this weekend and eager to celebrate it. But this time around, it will be a lot different for them as all the places of worship are closed (in India) to contain the spread of the ongoing pandemic. People will not able to offer their Eid prayers in Masjid this year.

Also, the gathering of more than five people is prohibited while social distancing has to be maintained as well. The Indian government has requested the Muslims in India to offer their Eid prayers at home itself. With more than 1.25 lakh cases in the country, there is no idea over the reopening of the worship places, malls, theatres etc… with India in the fourth phase of the lockdown.

Irfan Pathan who has been actively spreading awareness about Coronavirus over the last couple of months has now come up with a video urging the citizens to offer their Namaz on Eid at home itself. Rather he has shared a tutorial video on his official Instagram handle on how to offer prayers on the occasion of Eid at home. He also said that one can offer Eid prayers at home based on one of the school of thoughts in Islam.

Here’s the video:
