Yuvraj Singh is a fun-loving character in the world of cricket. There have been several occasions when Yuvraj has tried to poke fun at his teammates in good spirit, and Yuvraj’s comments have hogged the limelight on social media.

Another incident took place recently. Veteran Indian pace bowler Ishant Sharma tried his hand at golf. Sharma had posted a picture on Instagram, where he was seen hitting a golf ball. He captioned the post “Eyes always on the ball, no matter what sport.”

This post received a response from Yuvraj Singh and he commented “Lambu Ji, khul ke mar.” To that Ishant stated that it was his first time playing golf and he will learn the tricks of the sport slowly.

Ishant Sharma was last seen in action in the WTC Final

Ishant Sharma was last seen in an Indian jersey during the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against New Zealand. Sharma produced a good performance with the red cherry in the first innings. In the 25 overs that he bowled, Sharma picked up 3 wickets, and also gave away only 48 runs as well.

Ishant Sharma has played 102 Test matches for India and has scalped 306 wickets in the Test format. In fact, Sharma is the 6th highest wicket-taker for India in Test match cricket. The 32-year-old has also featured in 80 ODI matches for his country and has prized out 115 batsmen.

In T20I cricket, Ishant Sharma has played 14 matches and scalped 8 wickets. On the other hand, Yuvraj Singh was one of the most flamboyant batsmen during his playing days. The stylish left-hander featured in 304 ODI matches for India and scored 8701 runs at an average of 36.56. He also played 58 T20I matches for his country and plundered 1177 runs.

Yuvraj Singh won the Player of the Tournament award in the 2011 World Cup and played a pivotal role in India winning the World Cup trophy. He scored 362 runs for India with the willow and also picked up 15 wickets as well in the tournament. Singh played his last international match for India in the year 2017 against West Indies.
