Khulna Tigers (KHT) and Sylhet Strikers (SYL) are all set to face off in match no.30 of the ongoing edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on a doubleheader Monday, January 30, 2023, at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. Both sides will clash again in match no.39 on February 08 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Talking about the form, it has been a disappointing campaign for the Tigers so far as they have played seven matches and have won only two, and lost five. Their two victories have come against the Rangpur Riders and Chattogram Challengers. With four points and a net run rate of -0.208, the Tigers occupy the fifth position in the table.
On the other hand, the Strikers are enjoying a terrific and solid season so far as they have played nine games and won seven, and lost only two. Their two losses have come against the Comilla Victorians and the Riders. With 14 points and an NRR of +0.807, they are bossing the table at the top.
Speaking about the Head-to-Head contests, it’s dominated by the Tigers as they have won five out of the seven matches against the Strikers.
