Mayank Agarwal is the current holder of the Orange cap with 246 runs in IPL 2020 so far

The 14th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) saw the light of the day between Sunrisers Hyderabad and three-time champions Chennai Super Kings. After the gap of six long days, CSK walked up to make their season better and get some points in their bag. However, things didn’t work out again in their favour as they saw the face of defeat by seven runs. Batting first, SRH started on an ordinary tone, but their game, towards the end, accelerated too well as they posted 164/5 on board.

Their respectable score came on the back of young Priyam Garg’s amazing knock of 51* off 26 balls, who was ultimately named as the player of the match. Skipper David Warner and Manish Pandey added their significant bit in the game by scoring 28 and 29 runs respectively. None of the bowlers from CSK showed too well with the ball. However, Deepak Chahar scalped two wickets by conceding 31 runs in his spell.

Chasing the target, the top order collapsed entirely from CSK’s side. The duo of Ravindra Jadeja (50 off 35) and MS Dhoni (47 off 36) tried their best to finish things in CSK’s favour but fell short by seven runs. Rashid Khan remained impressive yet again for SRH as he conceded just 12 runs in his span of four overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was also doing his job well until he went down with an injury.
