They helped the team chase down the target of 161 runs in 16.3 overs with six wickets in hand. Prem won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.

The Grand Cholas were up against the Lyca Kovai Kings in their last outing. The Kovai Kings won the toss and elected to bowl.
