India (IND) will take on Oman (OMN) in the 12th match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Friday, September 19, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. India are in first place after winning their two games, while Oman have lost both of their games and are in last position. It will be the first match between Oman and India in T20Is.
India faced Pakistan in their last game, where Pakistan scored 127 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for India and took three wickets for 18 runs. India chased down the target of 128 runs in 15.5 overs with seven wickets in hand. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten on 47 runs off 37 deliveries and was the highest scorer for the team.
Oman took on the United Arab Emirates in their previous outing and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The UAE scored 172 runs for the loss of five wickets. Jiten Ramanandi was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 24 runs in four overs. In reply, Oman were bundled out for 130 runs and lost the match by 42 runs.
