Preview

New Zealand will take on Bangladesh in the second ODI of the three-match series on Wednesday (December 20) at the Saxton Oval in Nelson. New Zealand won the first match of the series by 44 runs after the match was reduced to 30 overs per side due to rain.

New Zealand lost their first two wickets for just five runs. Will Young and Tom Latham added 171 runs for the third wicket. Latham missed on his well-deserved century as he was dismissed for 92 runs off 77 deliveries. Young went on to score 105 runs off 84 deliveries. The duo helped New Zealand post a total of 239 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 30 overs. Shoriful Islam was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh, with two wickets for 28 runs in six overs.
