Sydney Thunder will face Adelaide Strikers in the 48th match of the Women’s Big Bash League 2023 on Tuesday (November 21) at the Cricket Central in Sydney. Thunder have won seven out of 11 games so far, and a win here will help them qualify for the playoffs. They are currently in third place in the points tally. Strikers have already made it to the next stage with eight wins in 11 games and are in second position.

The Strikers overcame Sydney Sixers in their last outing and won by seven wickets after chasing down the target of 123 runs in 17.3 overs. Skipper Tahlia McGrath played a crucial role with both bat and ball and was rewarded with the Player of the Match award. She picked up two wickets for 21 runs in three overs and scored 38 runs off 35 deliveries.
