Michael Vaughan tries to mock Indian fans for their loyalty
The former English skipper certainly does not look impressed.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan has been in the news for his personal opinions in the recent times. And now, when the Indian fans tried to contradict his thoughts on modern day cricket, Vaughan has come out with a new move on the social media. Irked by the response he got on his previous post on Twitter, the former cricketer recently created another fan poll on the micro blogging site.
In the fan poll, he indirectly tried to mock the Indian cricket fans. He asked the fans to pick one among two iconic players of their respective generations. He asked the fans to choose one among Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. He also added that this particular poll will test the loyalty of the Indian cricket fans.
Michael Vaughan used a heavy dose of sarcasm by using the word ‘knowledgable’ indicating that the Indian fans went ahead with emotions over knowledge while responding to his previous poll. The former English skipper certainly does not look impressed.

“Another poll for all my Knowledgable Indian Cricket fans …. You can only pick 1 … !??? This will Test your loyalty …..” Michael Vaughan tweeted as he provided two options – Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
Heart of the matter
The heart of the matter dates a few days back. English batsman Jos Buttler had hit whirlwind ton to help England win the third ODI against Australia. Michael Vaughan was very impressed with the innings and went on to quote Jos Buttler as the best middle order batsman in the white ball cricket. He went on to quote that Buttler is better than MS Dhoni.
Soon, he added more weight to his opinion by creating a poll for the fans to prove that Buttler is better than Dhoni. Much to his disappointment, the Indian fans voted in the poll and they opined that MS Dhoni is way ahead of Jos Buttler. Certainly unimpressed with this, Vaughan now has come up with another poll to divide the Indian opinions.
