Michael Vaughan continues his comparative analysis of Dhoni, Buttler with fan poll

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan looks overly amazed by the recent century scored by English batsman Jos Buttler. Ever since Jos hit a whirlwind ton against Australia in the 3rd ODI of the ongoing series down under, Vaughan has been showering praise on the English wicketkeeper-batsman. Such has been the extent of his praises for Jos Buttler that he has gone on to compare Buttler with legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni.

Well, he had recently rated Buttler higher than Dhoni in one of his media interactions. Vaughan had cited that in the current day cricket, Buttler is undoubtedly a level ahead than MS Dhoni. Whether his claims are true or not, that remains to be a subjective topic. But certainly some cricket pundits did not like the comparison. Jos Buttler still has a long way to go in world cricket to make a name for himself.

On the contrary, MS Dhoni has every accolade possible in his shelf of honors. Even taking the current form in picture, Dhoni has been scoring at a higher average than Buttler since January 2017. Amidst this backdrop, Michael Vaughan recently brought up the same topic of discussion to the fore yet again.

He questioned his fans to pick up one player from MS Dhoni and Buttler based on the present form. He created a fan poll on micro-blogging site Twitter about the same. Well, there are no surprises for guessing that some of the fans ended up trolling Vaughan for a question such as that.

For the ones who ended up voting in the poll, clearly suggested who the better player is in their opinion. The former Indian skipper nosed ahead big time in the poll to take the majority of the votes. Vaughan might still not be convinced with the poll results though. It will be interesting to see what the former English skipper has to say on the poll results.
