Mike Hesson lauds RCB fans for their inputs on team selection for the upcoming IPL auction

The 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is less than a week away and the euphoria has started to build around the whole event. While the franchises and their owners are busy making plans and strategies for the upcoming event as to who should they pick and who they shouldn’t, the fans and loyalists of the respective franchises have been at it, debating on social media on the prospects that their teams should opt for in order to have a world-beating side for the next edition.

A total of 332 players, ranging from the likes of Pat Cummins, Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, Tom Banton to uncapped prodigies like Priyam Garg, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and several others will go under the hammer on December 19th in Kolkata. And, the fans of one of the most followed-but underperforming franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have been at it on Twitter suggesting the players that the franchise should bid for in the upcoming event.

Mike Hesson- former New Zealand coach and the current director of operations of the Virat Kohli-led RCB- has been quite active on social media where he can be seen keeping an eye on the domestic T20 performers and the potential prospects. Hesson has now taken to Twitter to thank the RCB fans, for suggesting them the potential options and also lauded them for putting in so much thought.

RCB will look to iron out their chunks in the upcoming auction

One of the most followed franchises in the history of the Indian Premier League, the Royal Challengers from Bangalore has always flattered to deceive, thanks to their obscure team selections and underwhelming performances. After having finished last in the 2018 season, the franchise released a wholesale of players which included the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Himmat Singh, Henrich Klaasen, Tim Southee, Colin de Grandhomme, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Akshdeep Nath, and will go into the 2020 auctions with an aim to bolster two of their key nemesis- lack of quality local batsman and of course the fast bowling unit.
