Another opener on the list of most arrogant cricketers is the Pakistani opener, Imam-Ul-Haq. He has always been in the news ever since his career began. Part of the reason why he has always been under a scanner is that he is the nephew of the former chief selector, Inzamam-Ul-Haq. He has also been involved in a couple of controversies, which might have affected his career.

Imam-Ul-Haq is one of the most talented players in Pakistan right now, and he did not have the best of starts to his career. Critics were always on Imam’s back and he has always been questioned after a couple of failures. Many wanted him out of the team and lashed at Inzamam-Ul-Haq, accusing him of nepotism. Imam was never much of a talker, however, after being criticized to extremes by the media, he could not hold back.

Many people termed him as a “Parchi” player, who could not bat well. However, since his century against South Africa in January 2019, he seems to be making the news, both negatively and positively. He celebrated his hundred in an arrogant way, asking his haters and those who criticized him to shut up. Safe to say, his arrogance has made him a much better cricketer today than when he started out.
