Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni isn’t someone who prefers to overly express himself. On the field, while the likes of Virat Kohli, the current Indian captain, shows his passion by screaming his lungs out, the 37-year-old cricketer from Jharkhand remains subdued. However, it should be kept in mind that Dhoni is a human and he has every right to speak his heart out.
Dhoni isn’t a part of the Indian team, which is currently playing a three-match T20I series in Australia. Hence, he has enough free time to relax before the ODI series against the Aussies, which is scheduled to take place next year. Recently, he went to Mumbai in order to celebrate his wife Sakshi Dhoni’s 30th birthday. Their daughter Ziva was also present there.
Dhoni catches Rahul napping
Singer Rahul Vaidya, who came to the limelight after the first season of Indian Idol, is one of Dhoni’s biggest fans. He previously has spent some quality time with Dhoni and posted about the same in the social media as well. This time around he asked the wicketkeeper-batsman a question. However, Dhoni didn’t get ruffled by the question and he answered wittily.
Vaidya, in a video, said. “Sir, every time I click a picture with you it feels like the first time.” Dhoni thought about it for a while and the he replied, “Puch raha hain ya bata raha hain?” (Are you asking or telling me?)”

Dhoni recently played the five-match ODI series against Windies and was thereafter rested for the T20I series against Windies and Australia respectively. While he is seemingly tending to get out of contention for a berth in the T20I team, the experienced campaigner remains to be an integral member of the ODI team and is expected to play a crucial role in the World Cup next year in England and Wales.
