MS Dhoni returned to his hometown of Ranchi, Jharkhand after being away from home for a lengthy period of time. He was first involved in the ICC World Cup 2019 with Team India, where he last played for the Men in Blue in the semifinals against New Zealand. He tried his best to win the game for his team, making a fifty, but couldn’t get the job done.

After this match, Dhoni has made himself unavailable for the West Indies tour where India won the T20I series 3-0 and ODI series 2-0, while also winning the Test series 2-0. He was supposed to retake his place in the Indian team for the South Africa T20Is, but once more he wasn’t considered for selection and was instead seen having some time off in the USA. He has also served the Indian army in the break after the World Cup.

Dhoni was seen on Ranchi roads in his brand-new jeep

Earlier, Dhoni was seen at Jaipur airport wearing a bandana when he touched down in order to participate in a promotional event. Then he was seen heading back to his home in Ranchi and recently was spotted taking his brand-new vehicular acquisition for a spin on the roads of his hometown.

His new ride is the Cherokee Trackhawk that has supercharged V8 Hellcat engine, and it can speed up to 180 mph. The Jeep was added to Dhoni’s collection last month. His wife, Sakshi, had posted a picture on Instagram calling it her husband’s newest toy. Dhoni is a known car and bike enthusiast and has other machines like Ferrari 599 GTO, Hummer H2, and the GMC Sierra in his arsenal.

As Dhoni wheezed past onlookers in Ranchi, everyone was admiring their favorite son’s new jeep. The car is reportedly priced between Rs 80-90 lakh in India. In two-wheelers, the stumper has some great additions like the Kawasaki Ninja H2, Confederate Hellcat, BSA, Suzuki Hayabusa, and a Norton Vintage, besides several other bikes.

However, with his fans waiting for him to return back on the field in India colors, there has been no indication from the 38-year-old about his future in international cricket. Apparently, according to some reports, Dhoni may not be available for selection till November this year and may miss the home series against Bangladesh.
