New Zealand (NZ) and Bangladesh (BAN) face off each other in match number 12 of eighth edition of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on February 17, 2023, at the Newlands in Cape Town.
New Zealand had a topsy-turvy tournament in the last edition as they were able to beat the two bottom teams in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, but faced defeats against the two heavyweights in the form of India and Australia and eventually got eliminated from the group stage.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, had a horrid World Cup as they were beaten by all the teams in their group. They will look to erase the past and begin the upcoming event on a positive note.
