Pakistan bounced back from a Super Over defeat against Zimbabwe to take a 1-0 lead over them in the 3-match T20I series. Young all-rounder Wesley Madhevere’s unbeaten 70 came in only 48 deliveries as Zimbabwe got a decent total of 156/6 in their 20 overs. The visitors did pick a couple of wickets early on but the required rate wasn’t big enough to put pressure on Pakistan. Skipper Babar Azam (82 off 55) and Mohammad Hafeez shared an 80-run partnership for the 3rd wicket in only 9.1 overs to ease the chase.
